Job Description

Newmont Ghana Gold Limited, one of the world's largest gold mining companies, is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced person for the following position at its Ahafo Mine.

Instructor - Process Training

The successful candidate will coordinate training in process operations for both experienced plant operators and process trainees.

• Impart required process technical skills and knowledge in accordance with prescribed curriculum programs and standards
• Conduct safety training to process workforces in accordance with Newmont standards
• Conduct training needs analysis and develop training plans for process operations
• Maintain accurate records of all training and assessment activities
• Monitor progress of process trainees and provide coaching and instruction as required.

Required Skills or Experience

• Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar qualification and a year of previous experience or 4 years of equivalent combination of education and experience
• Extensive theoretical and practical knowledge and understanding of large scale process operations
• Excellent teaching and facilitation skills
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to speak and write English and Twi languages
