Our client requires a high calibre Project Engineer to ensure the smooth transition from design, through procurement to realisation of flight hardware to delivery.

The ideal candidate will be an approachable team player with self-confidence and also be self-reliant

Required Experience

• Liaise with team leaders on a regular basis to ensure resource availability and correct resource application
• Clearly communicate project goals to team leaders and project team
• Co-ordinate internal design reviews/updates
• Lead project team to identify and mitigate technical risks
• Prepare technical documentation and reports as required for both internal and customer review
• Provide updates to the project schedule as required by the Project Manager.
• Support project manager in forecasting future resource requirements
• Direct participation in customer reviews and meetings

Education

Essential
• Degree or equivalent in electronics or RF/Microwave Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a high technology environment

Huge Multinational Defence Organisation based in Stevenage are looking to recruit an Environmental Project Engineer to undertake a full range of Environmental engineering activities within the environmental skill area, supplying specialist advice and support across the department and projects as appropriate.

Please note: That you will need to be able gain Security Clearance to SC (Secret) level if you are not already cleared.

Previous Defence or Aerospace experience is essential for this position.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Providing support in Writing Environmental Requirement Specifications (ERSs), including Proving Plans and Proving Requirements in support of product development.
* Providing assessment of all relevant environmental requirements and their interpretation into design and test levels for the complete product and for its sub-systems, while maintaining overall consistency of logic and approach across projects
* Technical management of the environmental programme, including support to reliability growth and related activities, and preparing compliance statements for Project, sub-system Design Authorities and the Customer.
* Applying technical knowledge in a range of simulation techniques (including data acquisition, signal processing & analysis tools) as well as climatic, shock & vibration and Structural Mechanical & fatigue testing
* Providing support in the measurement and analysis of operational environments including field trials and flight data analysis) in support of Requirements Specification development
* Providing knowledge in all aspects of measurement instrumentation (including temperature, humidity, acceleration, velocity, stress/strain, solar radiation, acoustic noise, etc
* Providing expertise in requirements management in support of Certification

Civil Engineering Manager

Our Client is a leading consultancy within Engineering mainly involved within the environment construction and supervision of construction projects across the world, currently they are looking to assign a Civil Engineering Manager - Environmental/ Engineering Manger who has had significant experience within Civil Engineering, EIA Reports, Marine Work and supervision of environmental issues on offshore projects.
Ideally we are looking for a Civil Engineer with Post Graduate degree in Environmental Engineering or a similar discipline who has proven themselves over the years with at least 5 -10 years of practical experience of some of the following :

Investigating sites with pollution, base line studies, EIA studies, monitoring of environmental impact.

My client undertakes major dredging and marine projects so experience within these areas would be of interest but not essential along with experience of monitoring off shore projects more focused on the environment side would be beneficial.
Responsibilities

You will be required to prepare EIA reports as a Civil Engineer and manage environmental monitoring on major offshore projects. Along with having excellent grammar and communication skills, you will be responsible for preparing key documentation throughout all projects.

You will be working alongside a team of 35 highly experienced engineers who pride themselves with excellent customer care and have come together to provide integrated services in the design, construction and supervision of projects.

As you can see you will be playing Key Part and Key role within the company at all times.
